Some ATTITUDE
Good attitude. Rebel attitude. Ready to go attitude. It's an experience. The first bit is relaxing and indulgent: sit down with some champagne and have your hair and makeup done. Then we GET TO WORK. No really, you might feel like you had a workout after it's over. Modeling means holding poses - and those lounging beauty poses have more to them than the photo lets on. Do some stretches before you come in - you're body will thank you!
Wardrobe
Bring between 4-6 outfits. We won't shoot everything you bring, but it's good to have some options. Only bring outfits that you LOVE - if you feel so-so in it and not so confident, then ditch it no matter how much you might've spent on it. And lingerie is NOT the only outfits we can work with. A simple white boyfriend button up, an oversized sweater, leather jackets, business jackets, a sheet, etc. are all great non-lingerie options! Be sure you've got both a light and dark pair of bottoms (like thongs or whatever else makes your booty look bomb!)
Food
I'll provide some light snacks, but I don't know what your dietary restrictions or food preferences are, so it's best to take care of yourself and bring other snacks or a good lunch. Make sure you eat a good breakfast - you'll spend the first hour and a half in hair and makeup, so there's plenty of time to digest. You want to make sure you are fed enough to keep your energy up throughout the shoot.
A robe
Bring a lightweight robe to wear while you're getting your hair & makeup done, which you can also wear if you're between outfits at any point. If you don't have a robe, at least bring something you can wear getting your hair and makeup done that you don't mind getting some powder on and wear something that is loose and won't leave marks on your skin.
Toothbrush
There's some light grazing and we want to make sure that your teefies are clean for your beautiful images
Clean/dry hair, clean face, clean feet (yes...feet)
Since you'll be styled at the shoot, just arrive with clean & DRY hair and a clean face. Also, make sure if you're shaving to do so the day of with a fresh, sharp razor so that there's no stubble. Yes...clean feet. Please wash your feet well because more than likely we'll see the bottom of your feet in the photos and we don't want them to look dirty. This also means you might need to wear fresh shoes or wear socks to the studio. I cannot edit dirty feet, so you'll need to give 'em a good scrubbadubdub on the day of the shoot.
Bring your acne, stretch marks, cellulite, period bloated belly, and your "I'm not photogenic face"
Because you're still going to look stunning in these images. Don't feel like you need to cancel because Mt. Vesuvius is erupting on your forehead, or because you're feeling a bit bloated with your period, or for any other body shaming reason. You are not the exception - you are the norm. These things are common and no reason to break your stride. Everyone gets a retouch - acne is always taken out, and if you want your stretch marks and cellulite gone they can be. Posing and lighting will frame you in a beautiful light and show off the artfulness of your curves.
